can not boot knoppix on DELL Latitude ...

Apparently, you can not boot DELL Latitude's E 5520

from the DVD reader even though you set up the BIOS to do so and press F12 at start up
I have run testcd on another box and those DVDs seem to be OK

What could be possibly happening? How can I troubleshoot that issue?
