add/remove programms

i am running knoppix from a usb. i would like to add/remove some programms. is it possible to make this happen on the live usb? if yes, how?

You can use 'Preferences => Synaptic Package Manager'. The first time you have to run with it 'Edit => Reload Package Information'.

Don't use 'Preferences => Software Center'; it doesn't work.
