Knoppix 7.2.0 Iceweasel not working with wired connection

This is an odd problem.Most of my internet activities take place over a wireless router. When I am using a wireless router, all web related programs work fine.However, on a wired connection, the only browser I can get to run is Chromium. All other web based programs refuse to cooperate.I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to working out technical issues like this, so I don't really know where to start with diagnostics... Help would be appreciated.

I apologize. It seems you have fallen victim to bad text formatting. (My bad)To clarify:All web related programs work fine when using a wireless routerHowever, I can only use Chromium when accessing the web from a wired routerThey technically still run, but can not provide web based services. (i.e. I can bring up Ice Weasel or use apt-get, but they can not access anything other than local content)
