When I boot my desktop with Knoppix 7.2.0, the network doesn't work. When I reboot into windows7, my "Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)" needs to be replaced. This happened twice.
Any help?
Thanks,
Sam

You replaced the NIC twice, already?
Or is it a problem requiring cold start of the machine?
It is not very likely that Knoppix damages the NIC, but an unsuccesful attempt at initialization may leave it in a state where Windows 7 can't hadnle it?
