hello,

when i do atp-get upgrade i get "the following packages could not be authenticated" , and it returns all packages that begins with adriane name,so i did this:

apt-key update
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install debian-archive-keyring
which said it is upto date

but the problem not solved, any idea what should i do?

If you want to get rid of the error message, I suspect you would have to manually add the security key for the Knoppix repository, not that I know how to do that or what the key is(or why Klaus Knopper didn't include the key in the Knoppix images). Since the Knppix repository is the only unofficial debian repository in my sources.list, I just tell Aptitude to continue anyway whenever it gives me the untrusted error. That said, if you boot Knoppix in normal, desktop mode, your really don't need any of the adriane packages.

thanks jeffery, i just removed the adriane from source list so knoppix didnt check for updates for adriane applications and then i run upgrade command which updates all applications to new version except adriane ones.
