A minor irritation with the post page

In private messaging if you 'd like to peruse your old message you will find the reply box below automatically copying the above message as quote.

May be because the script linked to Reply to Private Message runs as soon as the pages are reached?

It may be worthwhile not to let the script private.php?do=newpm run as soon as the page is reached.

The Site admin and the Mod may like to check and advise please?

I am not sure if this happens to my system only.

It may be worthwhile not to let the script private.php?do=newpm run as soon as the page is reached.I don't see this as a wrong behaviour because there is not only the option "Reply to private message" but also "Forward". In any case it's your own decision to keep all or nothing of the quote. The best choice is to quote only the parts of a personal message you really refer to.
