Has anyone gotten xawtv to work?

Hi all.

I have an ati ALLinWonder 128 rage capture card and I would really like to have it run under knoppix, however when I run xawtv it tries to load and eventually craps out. If I try to run it as root from the command line I get a device error. Has anyone gotten this card, or any other atiallin wonder to work under knoppix yet? If so a little help would be appreciated.

I installed an Hauppauge WinTV--GO card ($50) and a Phillips-Magnavox rabbit ear antenna ($10), fired up Knoppix, clicked xawtv, and watched TV.
xawtv works with Knoppix, don't know about All-in-Wonder cards tho.

I remastered the image yesterday and while doing so I installed the ati.2 drivers to /usr using the instructions on the gatos site on sourceforge. Simply download the appropriate drivers from gatos and untar them into the /usr folder voila dpkg-reconfigure the xawtv package for your local settings, I beleive the defaults are set to european tv. Pretty painless.
