RPM

I am pretty new to the debian scene, especially the KNOPPIX remastering.

I would like to install the rpm package manager into my remaster. I tried apt-get install rpm but it doesn't work :!: :?:

I remember seeing a post here about this something about having to rebuild the rpm datebase before it works a search of the site should come with it.

you need alien to manager rpm with knoppix
search for alien in this forum
