Sony DRU-510A dvdrecord.

I have a Sony DRU-512A dvd RW drive. i am having problems burning DVDs. I am using the program dvdrecord and it complains that the manufactorer is unknown. Can some anyone tell me if this drive works with dvdrecord?? has anyone used this drive to burn DVDs?? If yes can you please share the info with me?

I never had much luck with dvdrecord but dvd+rw-tools works nicely. I don't have the same drive tho.
