On my older pc I have a ati radeon 7000 VE
that knoppix defaults to using the vesa server for
I know there is a linux driver for this card
(Lycoris boots up fine and configures this card)
is there anything I can do to get the driver for this
card included the next release?

also i'm having trouble getting X started on
my new computer that has a integrated
ProSavageDDR K4M266
on this one knoppix tries using the savage
server when X comes up
it displays a screen telling
me to 'check the display settings'
and thats as far as it goes

the faq says to send the lspci and lspci -n
information dump in by email
but doesn't give a address to send it too

Not sure about this one if the Savage server doesn't work. Of course there are other parameters. Check out the cheat codes (http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/CheatCodes)

Not email but 'post'. Post it here.

edit You could always have a look at your Lycoris configuration and use it with Knoppix. Boot expert and configure the xserver yourself. If you install Knoppix to hdd you could just copy the file over with a few minor changes.
