A friend is trying out my remaster, Overclockix. He's having trouble booting though. It hangs at auto-detection, or if he uses the failsafe cheatcode it hangs a little further in the boot process.

I sugegsted some cheatcodes for him, but I don't really know which ones would be most likely to help.

fb800x600, screen=800x00, 2, xmodule=vesa, and xvrefresh=60

His vidcard is a 1mb ET4000 PCI card

According to the TLDP video hardware how-to (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO/video.html) the card use the XF86_SVGA xserver and the tseng module so try the cheat code xserver=XF86_SVGA and xmodule=tseng however I do not see the tseng in the cheat codes (http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/CheatCodes) its worth a try never know it might be there without anybody updating the page post back if it is and I will update the page.

It does detect and use the tsenfg driver. It was the xserver that was probably the problem. I'll mention both codes to my friend who is having the trouble. Thanks...
