I have an older laptop without a CDROM drive, so I attached an old external (HP CD-Writer plus 7500e) to the laptop's parallel port.... I see that the boot floppy doesn't have external CD-ROM drivers.... Any way to boot?

--If you have ~700MB space on the HD, just copy x:\knoppix\knoppix to c:\knoppix\knoppix and use the ' mkfloppy.bat ' to make a boot floppy. Other than that I don't see how you'd do it with a parallel port CD.
