I'm not sure if this is the problem but it seems the new version of knoppix have geramiki by default. Now my gtk apps look good but my mozilla firebird seems really slow with geramik on, as does evolution, and these programs were normally nice and fast. If this could be a problem how can I get rid of geramik and return to the default gtk theme.
