My ADSL connection is PPTP type, and if i'm not mistaken, PPTP is micro$oft so for linux i need some type of "emulator". Would anyone reccomend a pptp software for Knoppix?

I tried this one: http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/
It did not work for me. If someone manages to use it, please let me know.

Thanks for your help,

Reuben

Have you patch the kernel to support MPPE ?

that would be a whole new game if you are running KNOPPIX off the CD(close to impossible). You need to get the kernel source tree and the MPPE patch and compile the whole thing then find a way to tell KNOPPIX to use the new kernel as well as the new modules. Not an easy task.
