Hi.
I am Paul, the author of a powerful software synthsizer called ZynAddSubFX.
It's webpage is http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net
I sugest you to add it to Knopix distribution, because it is not big (regarding the filesize) and if it used with (OSS or OSS emulation layer of ALSA) it is stable. There exist some binaries on Debian.
Paul.

P.S. Don't use the jack version. It is not stable like the OSS version of audio output.

From your web site: Please don't use this program to make music that is against God and Jesus Christ (eg. HeavyMetal, NewAge,..etc..). Think that the only way to the Salvation is Jesus Christ. Please don't lose this chance and don't make others to lose it!

Looks like a very nice program - but I find the attached request(condition?) a little perplexing.:?

Less that 33% of the world's population are christians yet knoppix is available to everyone in the world.......

Kind regards
rob

Looks like a nice program Paul. Requests to add programs really need to go to Klaus Knopper directy - perhaps by way of the knoppix developer's mailing list.

Don't feel bad if you get rejected or ignored. Lot's of us do simply because there is no way to budge on the space limitations for the Knoppix cd. Of course there is always remastering if you want to put this on a live cd of your own. Check out the docs here at knoppix.net for more info on remastering. I myself am looking for a remaster that has Rosegarden4, jack, and alsa on it. Since my wife uses the Finale music notation program and I'd like to give her a linux alternative. Best of luck.
