Hi,
This is my 3rd pc I've tried Knoppix on, this time around it acutually picks up my video card, but I'm having trouble with xine, whenever I open a movie file of any type, the player will start to open but not play then will go away, if I go directly to xine it will open but won't open anything. A friend of mine said he had the same trouble and had to change a filter somewhere but doesn't remember where. I'm really wanting to get the ASCII movie player working. I can't seem to find much in depth stuff for changing much in the ways of video, I don't much much about Knoppix and am not going to pretend too, windows is no prob, but things in Knoppix are kinda scattered. Any ideas?
