Alright, so I burned knoppix onto a CD, and booted it. Great. Looked nice, recognized my video and sound cards. It loads up, and my mouse doesn't work. Any help? I used tab for a while to try to surf, but I guess I need to configure it to recognize my ethernet card. Please help me, I just started this, first time with Linux.

Do you have a USB mouse? I have had troubles with my USB mouse also. I have never had a problem with a ps/2 mouse though.

I'm new to Knoppix and Linux. I have a USB mouse on my Desknote computer, and 've had the same problem getting Knoppix to recognize the mouse. Fortunately, I have a touchpad (which I dislike), but I can at least navigate. I'd sure be appreciative if one of the Gurus [said with the deepest respect :>) ] could give me a clue.

Update: I just downloaded the latest version (9/03) and it recognizes my USB mouse. Earlier versions did not.
