Booting problems (cd drivers not installed at start)

Hello!

Ive ran into some problems when Booting Knoppix from CD.....

The problem: I can't boot it from CD on my Compaq Deskpro 2000 (with MMX tech)
I already tried making the bootable floppy disk.. but that didnt work (cause it didnt recognize my CDrom driver)
I also tried going into bios mode.. but my BIOS didnt recognize my CDrom drive..

so, does anyone know a way to make Knoppix work? (doesnt matter me how complex it is.. as long as i dont need to install it on my HD ;) )
BTW, i also got msdos bootdisks which have the dos drivers for my cdrom drive installed...

Oh! Magiccly, it worked after i remade the bootdisk!! (now i made it from the iso, instead of from the cd)
YAY!

now.. lets get my network up and running :)
