Sorry to border you with my question, but i'm a total newbie in linux and knoppix.
I have knoppix 3.2 and try to get apache working.
When i try i get the error:
Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName

Even tried to download and install apache from apache.org but doesn't work either.
Anyone who can help me out?

hello,

This message doesn't mean that your server is not working, but that you have not configure yet.

You can open a web browser at: http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost

ah, FQDN, the trouble of many applications. try this :

'hostname knoppix.example.local' then restart apache. As mentioned by the previous mail, apache still loaded but it fails to find out your FQDN which is in the dot format.
