How can I install KDE 3.1.4 into my remaster with KDE 3.1.2

I have a small Knoppix remaster with KDE 3.1.2
How can I install KDE 3.1.4?
Will the
./configure
make
make install
work or I have to do some more things?

I think you'd be better of with finding some .debs and installing those
