Because the SCSI-Drivers are compiled as Modules, it's impossible to boot Knoppix from SCSI-Disks.
It would be great if the actual Kernel-Source together with the matching .config could be downloaded.

It would be great if the actual Kernel-Source together with the matching .config could be downloaded. The config you'll find in /boot/config-2.4.20-xfs. The kernel is imo a 2.4.20 vanilla kernel just with the xfs patch.
In a hd install of a former KNOPPIX distro I built a kernel just from the 2.4.19 sources (unpached)
using the /boot/config-2.4.19-xfs (setting CONFIG_VXFS_FS=n) and it worked fine.

Thanks Tom,

But what's the xfs Patch and where can I find it?
