Hi,
There were several posts regards running ISO knoppix from the FAT file system and others regarding the saving of configurations done while running it.
My question is, why not create a feature -- that instead of saving things to an already existent linux partition or save it to a floppy -- would create a big file (like vmware does) in a place that we choosen by us, and would use that file as a virtual file system where everything could be saved (new programs, work, browse cache, everything)
We could easly write that file in a CD and take it with us to any place!
Regards,
