I haven't been able to access the forum at linuxtag for quite a few days. Anyone know if it is down?

Actually it's not really down, but rather misconfigured...

All of the links point to www.linuxtag.org however the board now
seems to be running off of www2.linuxtag.org (www2.linuxtag.net)...

You can read things if you add the www2 into the links each time you
click, but I doubt that posting or login will work...

It is back up. To access it, use the normal URL. To get to the rest of the site, click the link you want, then when it doesnt load, add a 2 to the www part: http://www.example.com --> http://www2.example.com

I Thought that's what I just wrote, anyway you still won't likely be
able to use any of the forms if they do method="POST"... So good
luck logining in or posting.

--Personally I just cannot STAND this kind of incompetence. (This is not directed at any of you - it's for the Linuxtag "admins.")

--These guys are running a Linux site #1, #2 it's a very popular and HELPFUL site, and they just allow it to go down for **weeks** at a time without making much of an effort to fix it.

--Folks, THAT is PATHETIC. Somebody get them off their lazy asses and FIX THE DAMN THING. Then they can provide an explanation to their users as to WHY they were so incompetent.

--Yes I know it's free, but geez - if you're going to host a site, have some fkg PRIDE in your work...

Last time it went down it was really weeks, thats part of the reason i started this site. It's not that hard to get 5 9's reliabaility ( 99.999% )..
and it was frustrating when it went down. Also all they have to do is install the english language pack and we'd be able to use it in english too.
