Forgive me if this has been asked before-
I have a Cisco Aironet 350 WLAN adapter.
Upon bootup I get the following error -

"get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily unavailable"

If anyone knows what to do to get this card working -please let me know!

Thanks...

You need to downgrade the firmware to the linux compatible version, you can download from the cisco site.

Thnaks Marshall - would you happen to know what version that is?

You need 4.25.30. In all my tests no version of linux ever works without this firmware version, not even with the cisco drivers. I can email it to you if you like it is very small, the easiest way to install this is via the windows client (at least for me anyway).

Thanks Marshall -
I did indeed download it from Cisco - and loaded the firmware. The card is now recognized - however I can't get the card to obtain an IP address. :(

Still battling.....

Sorry, have been quite busy, the best way to get an IP address in my opinion is to use the command netcardconfig which sets it all up for you. Also use wlcardconfig which you need to do first if you're using encryption if you want an IP.
