Hi,

ahs anyone an idea how to install a Minolta QMS PagePro 1200W laser printer ? could be that it is a Windows only GDI printer but i need it under linux.

I don't know if the printer works. The minolta 1100L for example doesn't work, while most other minolta laserprinters work.
Most of the time, the best place to check if your printer is compatible is http://www.linuxprinting.org .
Since your printer isn't listed on the site, you could ask on the minolta-forum:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/forums.cgi?group=linuxprinting.minolta.general
You could try the drivers listed for other minolta-devices, but I don't know if it's going to work.
