View Full Version : how do i get knoppix to boot

can some1 please help i cant seem to get d knoppix 3.2 to boot it works on my other pc n its d same cpu as dis 1 except the other one uses sd intead of ddr and i have tried the command at boot "knoppix lang=us no apm no smp no apic n it still d same, would knoppix 3.3 work better ? Can some 1 please help.

Better: knoppix lang=us noapm nosmp noapic

bro i already tried exactly like u tyoe it
my comp wont go anyfurther than starting kit the turns the monitor off its like its about to start it freezes n dats all it does i have left it so i can see if it continues but nuthing happens

thanx bro i dl version 3.3 n it solved the issues i had at d end i figured out wat was stuffin it up it was my monitorsince the other pc has a newer monitor it didn't give any problems thanxs 4 d help

The noddc cheat code (http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/CheatCodes) would have stopped detection of the monitor and may allow you to boot with it attached the xvrefresh=60 could help too.
