I'm trying to boot from the Knoppix CD (2003-09-24), but just after he probe for the HDs, I get the following messages:

Initrd extends beyond end of memory (0x057f870A > 0x57f0000)
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root FS on 01:01

When I try to boot with the "expert" option, the last messages that appears before the error are:

NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/smp for linux net4.0
FAT: bogus logical sector size 35264
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root FS on 01:01

My system have just 96MB of RAM, and 8MB of it are shared with the onboard video card. 88MB of RAM are enough to Knoppix to run?

--Try ' knoppix mem=88M ' - (M needs to be caps) if that doesn't work, go down in increments of 2Meg.
