I have a remastered CD and when I use a splash screen,
unicode_stop in /etc/init.d/console-screen.sh spits out garbage and then hangs.
Once I hit esc to escape the screen splash and hit any key,
it says
is_in_UTF8_mode: input/output error
Does anyone know what might cause this?
I'm going to try another version and hope that helps.
