help cleen knopix install!!

Hi all!
am new to linux and i whane install knoppix on my old pc 400Mhz whit 512 ram..

is it a place for a newbee like me to read stepp by stepp tro the install of knoppix 3.3??

am tier off blue sceem F***** w :twisted:


i realy need a newbee turnital of knoppix

oki i haw made 3 hda one boot one for swap and one for the rest.
and i hawe write it to the disk and reboot the computer.
then i start the new install and i do this cous the knx-hdinstall dont find my hdd.

sow i do this:sudo rebuildfstab -r -v #
export IGNORE_CHECK=1
sudo knoppix-installer
(tips found on this forum)

then i get this masseg: cant write to the disk

am realy stuck.. what do i do ?????

Try reinstalling using the newer, better knoppix-installer script instead of knx-hdinstall.

If you're still having trouble, write back with more information. Does the installation script recognize your partitions? Can you boot into the new hard-drive installation? If so, where do you begin to get error messages?
