Booting Knoppix with Dawicontrol DC-100 (HP372N) impossible

Hi Folks,

ich have the Problem, that i can´t boot from the Knoppix CD 3.3 (3-11-03).

During the boot i get instandly a kernel panic!

If i remove the Controller, Knoppix boot fine?

Does Knoppix not support the Dawicontroll DC-100?

It seems like you need some extra drivers for that ATA-100 RAID card.

It is described here (in german), maybe some of the devs (most of them know german too) can help you further:

mhm this means Knoppix (or Debian) does not support the Controller... damn.
