my modem when it starts to dial in knoppix it just says turn off dial tone.
my modem device-/dev/ttys0
flow control-Hardware [crtscts]
line termination-cr
connection speed 460800

please help

In kde, you could try connecting with kppp.

Then you could try wvdial.
