Can't setup videocard/monitor!

Hi!

I don't actually know if this is a Hardware problem for sure, but i guess so...
Well, i recently installed KNOPPIX on my HD, and i wanted to make some adjustments...
Everything works fine so far, even Internet and all, but i can't access the settings for my Monitor/Grafixcard in my KDE-Controllcenter...
It seems to sort of crash, and is closed without any information, I'ts the only not accessable Option in the KDE-Controllcenter.
Am i doing something wrong? Did i miss something?

On the few occasions I've used the COntrol Center to adjust video settings it caused bad things to happen. I would recommend editing /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 yourself. If you need help with any specific part just post the file and surely someone can get you set up.
