can't log in as user [Archive] - Download Knoppix Live CD or DVD, Get Documentation and Help

Hi there last night I installed Knoppix as a dual boot system with XP on my laptop following this guide http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4174

everything went okay and it's on but now for some reason I can only log in as root not as a Knoppix User. When I try to log in as a user it just boots back to the log in screen.

--Did you try logging in as ' knoppix '? If that doesn't work, as root do ' adduser blah ' where blah is the user you want to create.
