Hello!

I have a Maxi Sound Muse sound card in my computer (4 channels), and knoppix detects it without problems (cmi-8738) but my problem is that I can only use the first two channels, the other two don't have sound.

I have been trying to find in different mixers the way to enable this channels, but I cant see it.

- What can I do in order to use all the channels?

- Maybe installing new driver? how? where can I find it?

Actually it is the software that "creates" the 4-D sound SO make sure first that you go to the site of Maxi and get the software package for Linux. If they do not have one, try getting a third party program.

The driver name is correct so you just need to send them sound.

But there is no support for Linux SO ...

One of these MIGHT do it.

Hello:
Thanks for the links and suggestion but I just listen sound in the front speakers. I think it is a configuration problem in the driver or the mixer settings.

I can listen the rear spearkers in Suse 9.0live or mandrake, but not in knoppix.

Someone can help me configurating this? maybe editing kernel configuration?

Thanks
