Knoppix fails to recognize my sound cards. I have tried two of them. One is a Creative ISA 16-bit basic sound blaster, the other is AudioPCI by Ensoniq ES1370 chip. I checked Red Hat's hardware guide and the Ensoniq chip ES1370 is listed as compatible. Please provide clear instructions on what to try to do to correct this. Thank you very much.
