I would like to find the bastard that knocked their servers, and beat him in the FACE~

The server has been down for quite some time. Where can I find an list of alternative servers to download from. It would appears that if installing for the first time, it's almost impossible to install anything w/o those servers being up.

Thanks 8)

Well, I've been using ftp.uk.debian.org without any trouble. Apt-get doesn't actually need packages.debian.org to download from. Knoppix defaults to ftp.de.debian.org, or something like that (I think). Just use kpackage or aptitude or whatever to find out what packages are, and cross your fingers the other debian servers will be fixed soon.
