Hi,
does anybody happen to have a Prism II based US Robotics 11Mbit/s pcmcia card working with Knoppix? It uses the orinoco module, of course. It works great with Knoppix 3.1, but not with 3.2 or 3.3 (one of the great things with knoppix is that it is so easy to try different versions). More specifically: the moduels load with all the versiions, netcardconfig lets you configure the card and the wlan parametrs, but after that with only 3.1 I can ping anything or get any other net traffic going.
I wonder what are the differences between 3.1 and 3.2 that could affect the card's behaviour.
