partition not mounting....

i have a partition that won't mount. when i tell it to it says you must specify the filesystem type how do ido this?
and when my comp. starts and it says "Boot:"
what do i type to boot windows?

mount -t vfat /dev/hda2 /mnt/hda2

You remove the cd to boot windows.
