playing mpeg and other movie/video formats on knoppix

I have a large collection of avi's, mpg's, ect. I was wondering if there is any way to play these files in knoppix. I know it is a simple question but i would really like to watch some of my Simpson episodes while running knoppix. Thanx in advance!

It's under Multimedia -> Video in the menu.

If that doesn't work and you have Knoppix installed, you can try installing MPlayer, though that isn't available from Debian's apt archive.
