how do i make the knoppix live cd recognise my ether net card in order to use the net with knoppix live cd :lol:

From a konsole/terminal, you could try running: netcardconfig
and choose dhcp.

Do you know what kind of card it is? Is it built into your motherboard or a stand-alone card, is it a wireless card? Give us some details....


One fix for some cards is to boot from CD and enter this code at the initial prompt:

knoppix noapic
