Hi to you all, and thanks for the help.

I have a promisse Ide Controller (udma 100), and when i press enter to boot Knoppix, knoppix stuck telling that cannot read command on the 2 HDD i have in this promisse ide controller, so stay's saying this forever.

So i think knoppix don't recognize my promisse Ide controller, only the onboard Ide controllers (Ofcourse)

Do you know how can i solve this one???

KNOPPIX works fine with my Promise Ultra 100TX2. I also have a Promise SATA 150TX4, but it is only supported in the 2.6 kernel or by third-party drivers in 2.4 (not included with KNOPPIX).

Do you have your DVD/CD-ROM connected to the Promise? Did you verify that your CD image itself is good (via md5sum)?
