Hello,
A few weeks ago I received a cd with Knoppix 3.1 on it. Curious as I am I immediately tried it, and it worked fantastic! That is to say, up to the point where I wanted to go on the internet. Im quite lost when I look at all the fields I have to fill in in order to configure a provider. For instance fields like:
- MSN/EAZ
- Encapsulation
- Authentication
- Domain name
don't mean a lot to me. Can anyone tell me what I have to fill in there. My provider is Het Net (Holland).
I also would like to know how I have to add my ISDN modem to the hardware list. I'm using a WebVox; it's a kind of home switchboard with a build-in ISDN card. All I know is that the ISDN card inside this Webvox is manufactured by AVM. Now there are about 5 or 6 possibilities with AVM; I tried them all, but no luck so far.
Can anyone please help this layman??
Thanks
