Help!!!! Knoppix destroyed my Raid Array

Hey all

I burned a copy of knoppix for a friend on my windows and rebooted my computer accidently leaving the cd in my machine. And now my machine will not go past my raid check. When i turn the raid array off in the bios the machine boots fine into windows. WHAT HAPPENED?!

I think that you might be using one of these raid controllers that don't get recognized by linux as a raid controller (yet... but I think theres some improvements in linux 2.6) but as a regular IDE controller. AFAIK SuSE once had a live-cd that could be quite dangerous to those raid setups but that was some time ago.

thanks anways, i'm thinking it might be a drive failure so it seems.
