Cannot use internet

I am fairly new and I have tried almost everything ......I need help on gettin connected on the internet...I have verizon dsl and I really need some help??????? :lol:

You should put some more information to get help. Is it a wireless connection? What kind of network card do you have? Are you running from the CD, or have you installed to the hard drive? etc.

My DSL connection uses DHCP. Once my network card was recognized, I just ran "netcardconfig" and selected DHCP broadcast and the network was running.
