Increase WiFi Range?

Hey its me again. My router is a good ways away from my wireless card, like two houses away. :twisted: But the connection is weak and my internet connection offten freaks out or pauses in the middle of downloads. I have heard of the famed "Pringles Can Antenna" but have no idea where to look for the instructions. Any ideas on where i can find that? Or another way to increase my range? Thanks a lot!

If you go to google and type in 802.11b and pringles you'll get a wealth of hits.

thanks i know how to get the pringles can antenna now, but until i get around to it does any one have any other ideas that will be quick and easy to increase the range of my wirless-g card

I have found a big difference in range of the channels. My wireless-b card could not reach 20' on one channel yet a different channel gets me anywhere in my yard.
