toshiba satellite 2450
model PS245C-03TMGP
I can't find your model in the Toshiba America's site. Perhaps you are in different region? Anyway, try to dig out the manual and read it first. It should be somewhere in the "boot sequence" menu.
For mine, I changes their sequence by pressing "u" and "d"

how do i acess th boot sequence menu?
Usually it is hitting the <Del> key when the computer first starts up showing the info about your diplay card, cpu etc.
Some machines may need you to hit <F2> instead
try both,, in case they don't work, try F1, F10 etc too

I think it's F12 on my Toshiba Satellite. It should tell you at bootup...mine does anyway. It isn't up for long though, so you have to be quick. If you're talkign about how to change it permanently, I'm not sure. The F12 key will merely give me the option of what to boot from. I haven't really looked in the BIOS much.

On some modern notebooks, just hit the Character C while booting.
If there´s a bootable CD inside it will boot from it ...
