help installing gnome on knoppix

i have translated gnome into my native language Punjabi. I want to make live CD using KNOPPIX. can u tell me how to install gnome 2.2 or 2.4 on knoppix.

With a hd-install you simply have to type:

apt-get install gnome-bin gnome-core

I don't know how you put it onto a live-cd though. There's a live-cd with Gnome called Gnoppix though...have you seen that one?

Maybe you could contact the gnoppix (www.gnoppix.org) team, or use morphix (www.morphix.org)"HeavyGUI edition". Better yet, offer your changes to the gnome maintainers, and hopefully they'll propagate to the debian package pools.
