USB keyboard w/ Knoppix 3.3??

I'm having a bit of grief with my PS/2 keyboard connector and would like to upgrade to a USB keyboard. The install picked up my USB trackball just fine (though I haven't tried adding the wheel yet). Will it reconfigure to a USB kbd automatically, or do I have to manually install anything?

Plugged the PS/2 keyboard plug into the adaptor, and the adaptor into the USB slot and fired up knoppix. Kbd was detected and worked just fine.

This is how it's supposed to be :D

Now, if i can just get the modem configured (not arrived yet) I'll have a usable system.
