How to install supermount kernel patch?

I'd like to install supermount (http://packages.debian.org/unstable/devel/kernel-patch-2.4-supermount-ng), but i have not found too much information on how to go about doing this... I really don't want to take shots in the dark here as i've already upgraded my system to the latest debian unstable and i don't want to go through the whole installation/upgrade process again. BTW I am pretty much a noob so I'll take as much detail as anyone is willing to give ;)
