APIC error

Hi,
I just got a CD of Knoppix. But when I try it on my computer (a dual pentium II with only one processor). I have the following error:
APIC error on CPU0:04(04)

My guess is try noapic when you are in the boot screen.

I would add a nosmp on that as well for a command line of knoppix noapic nosmp.
